The Coordinator of Faculty & Staff Mental Health Care and Respondent Services at UCI provides onsite consultative services & support to resolve behavioral health issues, serves as a primary crisis intervention resource to facilitate and coordinate appropriate resources, provides time-limited case management for individual employees, and develops and implements instructional training & materials to assist in the promotion of mental well-being for all UCI and UC Irvine Health faculty & staff. Support is offered for a wide range of issues, including:
- work-related stress
- relationship/couples issues
- family problems
- depression, anxiety, and other emotional problems
- grief and loss
- alcohol, drug and other addictions
- consultations and training services for faculty and staff management
- respondent services

The UCI Health Care Facilitator can help campus and medical center employees and retirees obtain full utilization of their benefits and services from UC Health plans. The Health Care Facilitator can assist you with:
- Health plan or billing issues left unresolved after you have followed standard protocol
- Understanding your health plan coverage and rights and how Medicare benefits coordinate with UC medical plans
- Providing referrals to other campus or community resources and one-on-one counseling/problem solving of health care issues
